B20b Swap 98 Integra, ENGINE PARTS: -B-series motor -Intake manifold w/ throttle body -Exhaust manifold -Si driver-side I have a friend of a friend who builds Honda’s on the daily trying to sel me a b20 block, gsr head with type r internals (cams , valves, springs etc) type r oil pump , for about $800 My 98 Integra ls has a stock B20b in it and I’m trying to get it to about 280-300hp with a turbo. now my teg is obd1 with the b18a. If your running an LS, it's just a B-series Plugs are different between 98 B20 engine and 91 B18 harness. I’m looking to swap the engine, fix the car up a little bit and possibly resell it if the B20 in 98 Integra LS? I was looking to swap in a b20 into my integra and my EK gets my b18 for the integra I would have to pass state ref in cali for the swap due to it being a light truck engine? I keep I have a 96 ls integra currently with a swapped high comp b20b but with an auto tranny :frown: (blew the old ls and didnt have enough money for tranny swap along with motor swap). it doesnt start every try, (sometime takes a little while) idles super low and rough, what's the deal? i've been trying to figure out whether or not i want to swap a b20 in place of my LS engine but then i go to compare dyno charts, they both look extremely similar. (I'm looking for reliable car, if your engine is jdm b20b, you will have to do the ckf bypass or if you dont want to do that, youll have to swap out oil pumps because the jdm b20bs dont have the sensor. its my first car and it needs a lot of work. I believe it has the B18B engine. what would i need the most.
